  1. Bendings releases The Seam Report 2026 on cyber, physical and AI security

The October edition of The Seam Report 2026 studies 78 publicly documented intrusion paths, 135 cybersecurity incidents disclosed by US public companies, CISA’s catalog of known exploited vulnerabilities and 50 testing regimes. It finds that individual testing domains cover the steps of most intrusions but not the joins between them: a typical red team scope could follow 33 of the 78 paths end to end, and 38 of the other 45 ran through systems or people the victim does not own. The edition adds analysis of PHP2Shell and the engineering work that follows a vulnerability disclosure. Data and analysis code are published with the report.
